Located in the center of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg serves as a traditional starting point for outdoor experiences that the whole family will enjoy. There are many things to do in Gatlinburg and the neighboring regions, including fascinating museums dordle and amusement parks, as well as breathtaking views of the mountains and riverbank promenades. Hiking, fishing, rafting, horseback riding, ice skating all year round, and seeing wildlife, such as deer, elk, and black bears, are a few of these activities. The Great Smoky Arts Crafts Community is the largest gathering of its kind in North America, with over 100 artists and artisans living within an eight-mile circle. And for a town barely two miles long and five miles wide, there are a ton of local eateries offering a wide selection of steaks, trout caught nearby, and Southern-style pancakes.

Surrounded by Spanish moss, resurrection ferns, and ancient oak trees, this beachfront town is home to premium resort neighborhoods. The 20,000-acre Palmetto Bluff neighborhood near Bluffton has a golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, a nature preserve, walking and bike paths, and a harbor. Try your hand at fishing, boating, paddle boarding, and water skiing if you're more of a water person. Stay at the posh Montage Palmetto Bluff, which has seven restaurants, a racquet club, a luxury spa, and the aforementioned golf course. In October, Bluffton hosts a week-long Arts and Seafood Festival where you may sample locally grown seafood or go on a Lowcountry Oyster Trail to experience Southern hospitality.

Fredericksburg, tucked away in the Texas Hill Country, is renowned for its peaches, vineyards, and German heritage. In addition, there are several luxurious hotel choices, chic shops, art galleries, and top-notch museums. In the meantime, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, one of Texas' International Dark Sky Parks, offers some of the greatest astronomy, and gorgeous wildflowers in the spring.

Williamsburg, Virginia, is home to the largest living history museum in the world, one of the earliest planned towns in the nation, and a great site to go back in time, explore gardens and nature paths, take a horse-drawn carriage ride, or go on a ghost tour. While adults may choose from a variety of breweries, golf courses, and spas, children will enjoy the fastest multi-launch roller coaster in the world at Busch Gardens Williamsburg amusement park. There are also many fantastic locations to stay, such as the family-friendly Kingsmill Resort, which is surrounded by the famous James River and 3,000 acres of natural area.

Marathon is a group of smaller keys bordered by mangroves and sandy beaches, located midway between Miami and Key West. Numerous water activities are available in the 10-mile-long, family-friendly neighborhood, including boating, fishing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Eco-friendly attractions provide the chance to engage with the local animals and discover the history of the railroad. Visit Aquarium Encounters to feed stingrays, the Dolphin Research Center to swim with dolphins, the Turtle Hospital to release sea turtles, and Curry Hammock State Park to enjoy bird watching. Stay at the beachside resort with a Mediterranean flair, Isla Bella, for a tranquil getaway.
